ViSenze a leading AI solutions provider for retailers, brands, and merchants, announced Zhijiang Chang as its new Head of Engineering effective today. Zhijiang brings over 20 years of Engineering experience across Asia, Americas and Europe, including in leadership positions where he built and led diverse SaaS and Engineering teams supporting multiple product lines.
Before joining ViSenze, Zhijiang spent over 10 years in the telecom and engineering field, starting as a software engineer to solution architect, and eventually as a VP of Engineering leading a distributed 60 man engineering team consisting of professional services, SaaS, and infrastructure engineers, supporting enterprise-grade clients globally, as well as integrating engineering teams through acquisitions. Zhijiang earned his Ph.D. and Masters in Computer Engineering at Technische Universiteit Delft, the Netherlands.
As ViSenze’s new Head of Engineering, Zhijiang will join the senior leadership team at ViSenze and report directly to the CEO, Oliver Tan, and will be responsible for setting the bar and elevating our engineering standards as well as building new capabilities across our range of AI-Powered SaaS products to support the increasing volume of our business. “He will also be pivotal in leading our diverse Engineering team to scale our platform to the next level. We also look forward to having him strengthen the leadership team and take ViSenze forward”, said Oliver Tan, CEO, ViSenze.
